Toho Celebrates 10 Years of My Hero Academia the Animation with Free Streaming Marathon and New Anniversary Content
New Anniversary Key Visual, “More” Episode Visual And Global Free Streaming Campaign
Los Angeles, California (April 3, 2026) – Toho Co., LTD.. unveiled new updates for the My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary, exactly ten years after the premiere of the first episode of the anime series in 2016. First announced at Jump Festa, the global celebration continues to expand with the debut of a new 10th-anniversary key visual, an updated visual for the upcoming Episode 170+1 "More," and a global free-streaming campaign to commemorate the anime's first broadcast.
Marking a decade since the anime's debut, My Hero Academia remains one of the most successful anime franchises worldwide. Following the conclusion of Kōhei Horikoshi's manga in August 2024, after selling over 100 million copies globally, the series spans eight seasons, 170 episodes, and four feature films.
In anticipation of the upcoming special episode, TOHO has also released a new English version key visual for the highly anticipated “More” episode, which premieres May 2, 2026, exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide (excluding Asia). Adapted from the manga's 431st chapter, originally included in the final volume, the episode follows Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and his classmates eight years after graduating from U.A. High School.
As part of the anniversary celebration, TOHO has launched the “My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary: Free Binge Marathon — Early Seasons (1–3)”, a limited-time worldwide streaming event available here on the TOHO animation official YouTube channel. Seasons 1–3 (Episodes 1–63) will be available to stream for free with subtitle options in seven languages: English, French, Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), German, Portuguese, and Italian.
