| Death Note (manga) | Not really good | I loved this for a while, but eventually the premise started to wear thin, characters changed from 'interesting' to 'okay' to 'OH GOD JUST DIE ALREADY', the story just became BORING, and everything just became more and more stupid until I couldn't deal with it anymore. A perfect example of a series starting with a lot of intelligence, momentum, and promise, but utterly failing to keep up with itself. I stopped reading after two of my favorite characters died, leaving me only one character I liked (Matsuda) in a sea of unlikable, irritating doofuses (especially you, Misa). |
