I'll be writing reviews for Anime which I have watched, regularly. I hope it'll be useful for people who are looking forward to a new series to watch.

Hellsing Review (series)
Synopsis: Hellsing follows the antiheroic vampire, Alucard, and a police girl-turned-vampire, Seras Victoria, two vampires employed by the vampire-extermination group of England, the Hellsing Organization. Slowly but surely, through their active duty, they find a new breed of vampires beginning to arise.
Review: Hellsing was recommended to me. So I did not pick up this series at random. I was informed by the recommend-er that the Protagonist is the coolest guy ever. Since I'm a sucker for the lone wolf Type, I instantly jumped into this series.
The Anime starts with a police woman Seras Victoria, attempting to stop a vampire and losing her life in the process. Alucard(the protagonist) in order to save her, turns her into a vampire, by the usual method everyone knows. These 2 then hunt down "evil" vampires while working under an organization.
The plus point in this series is, Victoria struggling to cope with her new self. I found this part of the Anime very interesting. The reason why Alucard works for the Organisation also makes for an interesting watch.
The negatives, well.. the recommend-er wasn't wrong. He is a cool guy. But the problem in this Anime is, almost everyone is cool, not just the protagonist. So the whole "cool" atmosphere starts to become monotonous very soon. Normally in other Anime the lone wolf cool types are often teamed up with other characters and this creates a balance. In Hellsing this balance is completely lacking and hence the coolness becomes monotonous very fast. As a direct result of this, I couldn't like a single character in this series, except for Victoria.
The other flaw is, the protagonist is extremely strong. You could say he is both invincible and invulnerable. So there is no awe or unpredictability during fights. You know who is going to win even before the fight starts. So the whole point of a fight becomes meaningless for the audience who generally look forward for a showdown in an action anime like this. This alone kills the Anime single-handedly. Add to that the fight choreography leaves much to be desired.
Hellsing would have been an excellent Anime if the power level between protagonists and antagonists was properly balanced. The imbalance simply kills the Anime for any serious action loving fan.
I'll give Hellsing 1 star:

Azumanga Daioh Review (series)
Synopsis: Azumanga Daioh is about high school life through the eyes of six girls with unusual personalities: Chiyo (the 10-year-old genius), Osaka (the resident airhead), Sakaki (the shy one prone to cat bites), Tomo (the loose cannon), Yomi (the short-tempered one) and Kagura (the resident jock).
Review: The main reason why I picked up this Anime was because of an extremely funny youtube video which featured this Anime. I read some reviews and that also confirmed that this is a comedy Anime. So I took the decision to watch it.
The First episode passed and nothing happened apart from character introduction. Second episode too passed by without any humour in it. There were some attempts at "humour", but it was basically crap. Me and my friends crack far better humour without any prior preparation(completely at random), than those girls do in this Anime. Then the 4th, 5th, 6th.. it went on and on and all I saw was those girls and their boring lifes, and their lame attempts to make me laugh. I never gave up hope and still continued this Anime. Whatever left over interest I had in this Anime was slowly replaced by hostility and face palming. I went back to the youtube video and watched it again, only to realise that it was FAN MADE!! But it was already too late and I had completed 16 episodes. I just skipped over last episode and ended my torture.
This Anime is more about slice of life, or in other words, the daily lifes of these girls rather than comedy. If you are willing to watch a bunch of school girls gossiping, chatting, acting lame, traveling, petting cats, sleeping, eating, talking part in extracurricular activities, dating & acting cute then this is the perfect anime for you. If you are not into these mundane things then I suggest you don't even give it a try.
Apart from the opening and ending songs, and one or two scenes with the creepy ero teacher, basically this Anime left me with a huge lump on my forehead due to face palming and head banging. There is more interesting stuff happening when I peek out of my window of my apartment, than in this Anime.
I give this waste of time:

Hahahah.
Oh boy. Your reviews are not going to go over well if you give Azumanga a 0/5. It averages a little above a 9 out of 11 in the encyclopedia ratings.

The problem I'm already seeing here is that you're basing your reviews almost entirely on whether or not the series interested you and/or was personally appealing to you rather than considering any qualitative factors. A certain amount of subjectivity is expected in reviews, but yours are entirely subjective. Also, you'll need to clean up your grammar a bit if you want to be taken seriously.
Beyond that, Azumanga Daioh is notorious for being a hit-or-miss series, as people tend to either love it or never see the point to it, and clearly you're in the latter camp. Hellsing, though, I think you're entirely missing the point of the series. How balanced the fights are was never a focus; how cool they were in execution was. (And it wasn't like Alucard was totally overwhelming all of his opponents anyway.)

Hellsing basically takes coolness and over uses it to the point of boredom and tasteless-ness. And the fight choreography is nothing out of the ordinary.
Azumanga Diaoh is a taste-less Anime. Since this Anime was episodic, and the characters bland and boring, I mostly based my review on this from my perspective, rather than focus on their mundane lifes, and in the process give out any spoilers. However I did mention the type of Audience this Anime would attract.

Blood+ Review (series)
Synopsis: Otonashi Saya is a high-school girl who lives a peaceful life with her family. The only problem is, she has no recollections of her life beyond that of the past year. However, her happy life will be destroyed by an event that will lead her to her destined fate.
Review: Blood+ at the beginning has a gripping plot. You are confronted by a mystery which leads the protagonist to travel places in order to solve it. How the mystery unfolds, partly driven by the protagonist's amnesia, is another interesting aspect of this Anime. The relationship between the protagonist and her brother is another aspect to look out for in this anime. But you are also confronted by villains who seem to do nothing but engage in useless chatter, and that's when the plot starts taking a downturn. That's mainly because all the villains behave like complete retards in planning and execution of the plans to kill the protagonist. You get the feeling that the Villains are merely there for stretching the Anime longer than it should have been, and they hold close to zero importance for the progression of the main plot. All the characters around Diva and the sift behave in that way. After a while their presence is so pointless you may even think about dropping the Anime. And since they are merely for meant for extending the Anime, those characters are conveniently killed off at regular intervals, in the most lamest way possible.
The ending is equally worse. Suddenly the remaining villains who are alive become kind hearted and one of the main reasons of this Anime's existence collapses right in front of your eyes, which lets you to question yourself... "Why did I even watch this?"
There are also some love triangles to look out for in this Anime. This could highly interest people who prefer some romantic tinge in their Anime.
Bottomline: Blood+ is an exciting in the beginning, but slowly losses it's charm when it nears it's end. In short, Blood+ is an excellent Anime if you like Mystery, Romantic soap operas, bishounen, slow plot development, filler characters and dumb villains. Else I recommend that you drop this Anime like a hot potato.

I agree. Reviewing a series from 2010-2011 is probably a good way to introduce others to what genre you typically like to watch.
Also, why review a series a series if you don't really like the series that much in the first place. Reviewing a series that you honestly give 3 stars or higher a great way to introduce others to new shows.
For example, years ago, I had a coworker introduce me to Love Hina and that is how I became a long time manga reader. It is also made me interested in all types of manga. I was already watching anime beforehand, but I was always wondering if there was a alternative version of the series.
With some people, all it takes is one good series and they are become life long anime/manga readers/watchers.

No offense guy but your reviews are awful. Grammar aside, you only seem to be targeting shows that you did not enjoy. Why not review something you did enjoy? Why are the three you posted so far below 3 stars? Is there an Anime that you did enjoy watching?
I do agree that the Hellsing TV wasn't the greatest, but as Key pointed out it seems like you completely missed the point of the show.
And I also agree with the others. You are better off reviewing newer shows. Those 3 shows have been reviewed to death already.

Main point of Hellsing? Is the main point of Hellsing set in stone? Don't pass off your opinion of hellsing as a fact.
Not everyone would have watched all the old Anime. And reviewing something which has more than 3 stars? Strange logic. A review can be both a recommendation as well as a Non Recommendation.

A brief look at Bleach anime till the end of Arrancar arc
Needless to say, spoilers abound for people who haven't seen till episode 310.
Bleach starts as a "Monster of the week" Anime and stays like that for a while. After overcoming the inertia, the audience get to feel a true, well orchestrated, full blown Shounen plot with twists and turns and mind blowing fights. All the major characters are introduced in this arc which lasts till Ep-63. This is THE arc which made bleach one of the most recognizable Shounen Anime earning it's place in the Honorable and Prestigious HST. However the awesomeness ends abruptly in Episode 63. After the arc, the fillers take hold and suck the soul out of Bleach. The fillers in bleach are so vast it almost rivals the original plot in terms of Episodes. Here is a filler comparison of the Holy Shounen Trinity(HST):
Onepiece (Individual Filler episodes included) (Ongoing Anime)
Total Episodes – 495
Total fillers – 81 (including specials and recap episodes)
Total non-filler episodes – 414
Filler/non-filler ratio – 1 : 5.11
---
Naruto (Individual Filler episodes before Episode 130 not included) (Completed Anime)
Total Episodes - 220
Total fillers - 85
Total non-filler episodes - 135
Filler/non-filler ratio - 1 : 1.59
---
Bleach (Individual Filler episodes included) (Ongoing Anime)
Total Episodes - 314
Total fillers - 139
Total non-filler episodes - 175
Filler/non-filler ratio - 1 : 1.26
But the tragedy of Bleach isn't just the fillers. After Episode 63, there is no way to go but down even for the original plot. There is no consistency... for example Ichigo and Ishida come out on top in battles with the Captains, but those same Captains fight Espadas more powerful than Ichigo & Ishida. There is no Mystery in the plot. The plot holes are hastily filled like in case of the Vizards, there is no sense of awe or anything dramatic like you'd expect from the standards set till Episode 63. And main reason for Bleach's dismal performance after Episode 63.. the main antagonist appears so seldom you almost forget about him, and even if he does shows his face once in a while, he does nothing worth writing about him until episode 300 or so. In short Bleach becomes the very definition of Mediocrity. There is only one hope for Bleach, and that is for the Aizen to get off his lazy ass and start slashing. And finally he does start his slashing and for a brief moment it feels like Bleach is on a path to recovery. However it is short lived when Ichigo pulls yet again another Ass-pull and shats on Aizen.. thus sealing the fate of Bleach.
Some major fuckups from Tite Kubo:
"The battle abilities of Vasto lorde is greater than that of the captains" - Hitsugaya
THE biggest lie in the history of Anime. Vasto lorde even after turning into an arrancar/espada get their asses kicked by the very same moron(Hitsugaya) who said those words.
"Espada goes from 10 to 1" - Grimmjow
Which was shamelessly changed to:
"Espada goes from 9 to 0" - Yammy
In-consistent power levels. For example: Ichigo defeated Kenpachi in his shikai. Lets take his power level to be 10 in this case. Lets assume Kenpachi is also at 10 eventhough he lost to Ichigo. Now the bullshit begins. It's well know that in Bankai the individual gets 5 times stronger(as stated in the manga). So now Ichigo's power level is 50. Now lets assume after hollowfication, Ichigo's power level increases by 2 times. So now 50 X 2 = 100. This is the level at which he fought Grimmjow, the 6th espada. So the 5th Espada must be atleast at the 100 power level. Now Mr.loser carrying the whinny little witch comes in and takes out the 5th espada just like that. Since when did 10 = 100, Kubo?
The huge potential Bleach had with the society structure in the Soul Dimension - rampant poverty and class system - was completely ignored. So basically our hero, Ichigo sends those poor souls to the SS with slums and poverty. Nice afterlife.
I'd like to go on and on about the crap fest Bleach has become since Episode 63 but I'll just wrap things up since this is a brief overview.
Rating Soul Society Arc:
Rating for the Anime excluding the SS Arc: **
** I'd have given it 1 Star if not for the random Comedy in it.

What exactly are you rating here? Do you just get into some sort of trance and give the whole thing a rating, do you rate the quality per episode, or do you give it different ratings for each aspect of the show (e.g. story, music, art) and then give it an overall? Have you tried to be objective?

Plot base, Plot progression, character development, screwups, consistency, entertainment value etc etc and give it an overall. I'm not gonna give individual rating to each of them and do an average at the end.
And yes, I do give an honest assessment, even if it irks some fan boys/girls.

Man, this thread makes me want to start up my own Review thread.
In any case, I do agree with a few of the things you said, like some of the Blood + review and some of the Soul Society arc but there are things I don't.
As for Hellsing, I definitely agree with both Rukiia and Key that you were missing the point. But I'll just comment on what you have instead.
| Quote: | | The other flaw is, the protagonist is extremely strong. You could say he is both invincible and invulnerable. So there is no awe or unpredictability during fights. I highly question this assessment. How does this completely kill the anime? I actually don't quite understand your logic. Really, I think everyone knows the protagonist, especially of most anime series, are going to win. I really don't feel like there is any doubt in a series like Naruto or Bleach that the main character is going to win. And if he does somehow lose a battle, he's going to win the next face off. Always. I also don't see how the choreography is any worse than any other series, as most of Bleach's fights are lame.
And the last fight in Hellsing was pretty damn close. If any series was going to see a loss, it could of been here.

I'm not sure I really agree with this. I can sort of see the plot base, but I don't see any of the character development. I actually don't see much consistency throughout your reviews. I don't particularly like Azumanga Daioh, but I don't see how it got 0 stars. I feel like you completely missed all the references.
I can seen no value in your entertainment value at all. It seems to be beyond biased since it completely constitutes your overall rating to the point where nothing else matters.
I also don't see how Bleach post Soul Society Arc has a higher rating than Hellsing, though neither of them are particularly good. The only thing you didn't like was that Alucard was really strong, according to your review.
Well... I agree you should show us some examples of shows you rate highly *Kanye Shrug*

Quietly sitting on a Chair with a grin and bullet holes all over his body, then regenerating, and coming back to finish off the bad guy in an instant is the worst unimaginative choreography IMO. The character needs atleast to put effort into his fights to make it interesting for the audience. Ichigo doesn't win all his fights, for the record, while Mr.LazyVampire does. Spilling gallons of blood doesn't make a fight choreography good.
Only the last fight was a bit close, but even then, he just jumps back in just like that and completely pulls a dues-ex machina and and gets the bad guy. Bah!! Not to mention the multi eyed dog thing. The whole fight was lol material.
BTW, this review is about the old series, not the Ultimate re-make since I have not watched it for obvious reasons.

I'm not gonna sit around and write individual reviews for every episode of the mundane Anime which is Azumanga Daioh. Writing Episodic plots, which actually is plot progression in this Anime, is not worth all the effort. And there is little or no character development at all. The cardboard-cutout personalities of those girls is simply unrealistic and uber lame. I summed it off with a single sentence of kind of audience this Anime may attract.
I will be making more reviews on popular and obscure series alike. I'm kinda exhausted writing this in under a day.
