Her name is Asuka, and she comes in a little bit later in the series (I'm not exactly sure what the episode number is, but it the one where they face I believe the sixth angel, could be episode 8, I think)

Indeed we meet Asuka Langley, the Second Child in episode 8 "Asuka Strikes!"
