This is great news that the series is doing this well, I hope that they can hopefully do another season of Kagaku no Raigun and a 3rd season of Majutsu I thoroughly enjoyed them both.

It's pretty much in stone that there'll be an Index 3 (unless the author for some reason says no). Index 2 sold 15-20k copies per vol, which is definitely a successful show. I imagine we'll be seeing Railgun 2 before Index 3 though. Something tells me JC Staff wants to alternate between the two.

It's so far their best series. They did a good adaption for season 1. The y did half a good job on adaption literally for the Railgun anime.
