I haven't really paid attention to DOA since it turned into softcore porn with the beach volleyball games, but I thought this actually looked cool from a gameplay standpoint.
It also helps that since Itagaki isn't with Team Ninja anymore, the girls don't all have size D boobs with super uncanny-valley jiggle physics. |

Yeah but Itagaki was the main creative force. It doesn't help that everything he worked on with Team Ninja have gone down-hill fast. Ninja Gaiden 3 anyone? |

Ninja Gaiden 3 was fine, TN just did 2 steps forward 3 step back. Now with DOA everything they are changing and tweaking is for the best, especially the more realistic/human look for the fighters

i don't really like the new chara design,,the girls don't look cute anymore,,
they just simply beautiful,but not cute,,like previous game the chara design was better(DOA4). but one thing i like from this new graphics,,the boob physic is better,,they don't move around itself like a jelly anymore,, by the way,,i look forward for this game,,because after this,,hmm maybe they plan to make DOAX3? who knows,, today is also Hitomi-chan birthday by the way,, Love Hitomi ! |

well,its your opinion thats fine,but to me they look more beautiful than before,,and agree more realistic,,thats some great improvements,, its just about the chara design DOA4 was better,,, i'm following this game since DOA3,and Hitomi-chan big fan and lover,, if you're asking me,,which is the best chara design of all DOA games,, DOAX(the first one) is hundreds times better than DOA5, Hitomi's face don't much change from since she's appeared on DOA3 until DOA4 and DOAX2,but well its not really a big deal,,i'm still supporting this game,,at least her japanese voice remain cute like usual,,thank you Horie Yui for giving your cute voice to Hitomi-chan ! \\(  )//
