I check the encyclopedia 4 or 5 times a week, but it seems to have not been licensed to a US company yet, think ADV will pick it up ? I sure hope so...

I hope so, I just finished watching the fansub a few days ago. It had some grade A stuff in it. And a great ending, but they need one more season to wrap things up...so lets hope....
also Sosuke'sspoiler[argument with his mech was pretty funny.] |

Yes, it will be brought over eventually, if it's not already in the "behind-the-scenes" process.
Have some patience, people. |

It hasn't been six months since the Japanese airing ended...it's still early in the process. I'm betting that the summer convention season will have an announcement on FMP TSR. I'm guessing that ADV wants it; they wouldn't want another Saiyuki incident to happen, nor would the fans. But overall, TSR is not a "doesn't get licensed" type of series. It's action, mecha, a bit of comedy, and a part of a property that's already successful in the US.

I sure hope so, I have eagerly waiting to see this series. I do hope ADV picks it up, what a disaster if another licensor would pick it up >.<.

If the anime gods are kind to us, hopefully there will be an announcement by the time Anime Expo rolls around, so if that's the case then it should come out next year
I can't see it NOT making it over here. And I hope that ADV will get it too, Sousuke's voice wouldn't be the same for me if they didn't. |

I'm expecting ADV to announce it at one of the upcoming major cons.

Make sure everyone you know is buying FMP and FUMOFFU so ADV knows that FMP TSR will be worth thier time and money. Er buying from legitimate sources that is.

I was at Suncoast yesterday and I saw FMP: TSR on the reservation list. Of course I immediately reserved it, so I gather that ADV just got TSR.
I should think that ADV would get all of the Full Metal Panic series that come out since they've already gotten the first season and Fumoffu. |

I still find it hard to believe that Suncoast would somehow know of this when there hasn't been any major announcement to the anime world about the licensing of TSR. ADV didn't say anything about it when this Suncoast business was first going on, so I still doubt that they have it. |

I'm just going by what I saw on the reservation list.
I'm guessing ADV has licensed TSR, but hasn't announced it yet. They've probably announced it to the people that carry their products. Who knows? Maybe ADV doesn't have it, but whoever does has informed Suncoast about their intended release date. |

Suncoast was reserving Advent Children before there was an actual firm release date.
Besides, I wouldn't trust anything that Suncoast says right now since most of the stores are/seem to be going out of business. I'd wait until something is said on ANN's homepage or on a homepage like Right Stufs. |

So were we, when it showed up on the list last month.
The thing is, no other DVD vendor even has a solicitation for TSR at this time. The distributors usually send the pre-order information to the vendors at least 2 months prior to the intended release date. I don't see any way for it to hit that May 9th date. |
