Bible Black. has, in my opinion, an excellent plot, excellent sex scenes, and a cast of well-developed characters. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a high-quality erotic anime. Without spoiling too much of the plot, I shall tell you why I enjoy this series so much. The main character, Minase, is a student at a school (I am not certain if it is a high school or a college) who has just obtained a book of magical spells. With the power of this book, he is able to seduce a number of female students at his school. But one of the teachers at the school, Reika Kitami, is using similar magical techniques to do the same thing. While Minase is just looking for a good time, Kitami is searching for an "unspoiled body" to serve as a sacrifice in some dark ritual. I cannot say anymore, for I do not wish to give away the story of this awesome hentai series, but what I will say is that this series has a much better plot than most other erotic anime, that the women are all very good looking, and that the sex scenes are the best I have ever seen. In one episode, there is a scene where a woman is tortured, but fortunately, it is very mild in comparison to many other hentai anime series, such as Night Shift Nurses, which I shall discuss below.
However, I disagree with [deleted post] 100% about Night Shift Nurses. In my opinion, it is definitely the WORST hentai anime ever made. Without spoiling too much of the plot, I shall tell you why I hate this series so much. The main character, Ryuji Hirasaka, is a doctor who has just obtained a job at a newly built hospital. However, the audience soon learns that he is a very twisted, depraved person, for he begins to rape, torture, and enslave four of the nurses who work in the same ward as he. He subjects the nurses to some very heinous forms of torture and degradation, which I shall not mention here, as they are completely vile and horrifically disturbing. Not only that, but this series has some very disgusting depictions of bodily functions, which I normally do not have a problem with, except that the method in which said functions are portayed in this series almost makes me vomit. I was able to watch only up to the fifth episode before I was unable to withstand any more of this series, so I am advising you right now to not spend any money on it, unless you are somehow able to stomach both women being raped and tortured and absolutely revolting depictions of bodily functions. As for other recommendations, I would suggest Darling. This series is a romantic comedy that centers on a newly married couple. The husband is an artist who illustrates erotic comics, and throughout the three episodes of the series, he draws six different stories, and the audience sees each story acted out in his imagination. The husband is asked to illustrate these comics to meet a seemingly impossible deadline, but he is able to meet said deadline with a special power of his, the ability to maintain sexual arousal for an extended duration and thus acheive the greater stamina needed to illustrate the comics in the designated period of time. This series is overall a very enjoyable anime, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an erotic anime that does not contain the usual torture and rape that far too many hentai anime series contain. I would also recommend Viper GTS. This series is another romantic comedy, my preferred genre when it comes to erotic anime. This series foucuses on Carrera, Rati, and Mercedes, three female demons who perform tasks for mortals in exchange for the mortals' souls. One day, Carrera is summoned by a nerdy boy named Ogawa, and they have sex. However, for some reason, Carrera does not take Ogawa's soul, and so Mercedes, who wishes to prove that she is better than Carrera, also attempts to take Ogawa's soul, but is also unsuccessful. I cannot spoil too much of the plot beyond that, but I will say that this series is another series with excellent animation and charatcers whom you can actually be attracted to, unlike many hentai series, where you end up hating the characters for some of the acts that they perform. I have seen many other erotic anime series in addition to the ones mentioned here, but none of them are, in my mind, worth mentioning in this thread. I hope that what I have said here will be helpful to anyone looking for a good erotic anime. I apologize for the length of this thread, but I had much to say. I hope that no one is angry for having to read so much text.

Urotsukidoji was my first experience with the concrete knowledge that you cannot 'unsee' something. How people can draw so well but have that much hate for women I cannot understand.
I've only seen the first episode but that was WAY more than I ever want to see again. Others may like it but this is something I personally would NEVER recommend to anyone. I kind of like the idea of 'Adult Anime' but I really don't see why that has to mean 'rape' in so many cases. Adult characters in adult situations I would like. Rape...not so much. I've never seen Bible Black so I have no opinion on that but Urotsukidoji I would give a big thumbs down. If you do watch it remember you've been warned, rape, murder and total depravity are what you'll get (and not the fun kind of depravity either.) PS: I REALLY wish I could scrape that one out of my head. |

Why does "adult" anime, equate to Hentai? Why can't we get those separated? I like sex, not rape.

Well, hentai is used to define "adult" anime over here, so in my mind and probably other people's minds, hentai=adult anime. Be it rape or not.
