Sonic X premieres September 6 and theres a sneak peak on August the 23. What does everyone think? Will it do good or fail? Im hoping it will do good. Im a big fan of Sonic and have been waiting patiently for a new Sonic cartoon.

 I actually downloaded the first episode when I found out about it... I have no idea what they're saying in it except for bits and pieces but I liked it a lot anyways... And I'm not even that big of a Sonic fan... Anyways, if your willing to download something that's 40 MB and is in Japanese with no subtitles then I recomend dowloading it... You can find it at this website... [EDIT - No linking to raw episodes -C] I believe that's it anyways... But it only has a few of the episodes there... And they're all in Japanese with no subtitles...

I believe it was Sonic Adventures that first set him on that path, not the anime. After all, the anime is based somewhat off the game, and it was the Adventures games that were first to make him part of the real world. All the anime did was throw in a couple kids. Emerje |

I'm one of the few people who preferred Adventures, because you didn't have to collect the Chaos Emeralds to get the good ending.

They were all good though, I think. But then again I like just about anything that is Sonic so that isnt the best opinion to go by.

I watched a few of the fansubs, and they're... not bad, all told. Better than any of the previous Sonic cartoons, at least.
Should provide more entertainment value than the F-Zero anime Nintendo has in production. Jeez, of all the Nintendo properties they had to pick that one... |

I actually thought Sonic X was pretty good for a kiddie shounen anime. The part I thought was weird was that the dub actors don't sound anything like their counterparts on every other post-Adventure counterpart, which is odd since I thought Sega was trying to do a little continuity voice-wise in the Sonic series (In case you've lost count, they've used the same English voice actors since Sonic Adventure 1 on Dreamcast). 4Kids did an alright job on the dub too, it was about on the same level as Kinnikuman Nisel (aka Ultimate Muscle), but I haven't seen any fansubs on those two shows. And for the record, the F-Zero anime might be good as long as the race scenes are CG and it dosen't try to be Initial D, since that just wouldn't work with Captain Falcon, the main character on the anime (I think... his name's in the title). But as long as we don't have Urkel playing Sonic anymore, that's cool.
