Alright, im about to bcome and uncle for the first time, and of course i want my nephew/niece's roon to be decorated as an anime, i alreay convinced my brother but his wife would lke to see an example of what the pictures look like.

I need an anime that is off course suited for a childs room, that is liscensed to its easier to find merchendise. U know something like Hamtaro, something cute like that. Unfortunately, thatsbnot my type of anime so i the only Tittle i know of is Hamtaro. Can anyone recommend any other tittles for me to check out????

Thnx u soo much for anyone who can help Anime smile

Neither struck me as being in the same league as Hamtaro...

It depends on being a niece or a nephew, I guess!

I'm not very knowledgable in anime, so the closest thing I could come up for you is Pokemon. The atmosphere's rather similar, with all the people (and Pokemon, and Hamsters) filled with perfect goodwill and no animosity and stuff. Both are also very child-friendly, and speaking from experience most children like Pokemon. Whatever Pokemon--doesn't matter. Heck, my little sister does, and now I've found myself sometimes watching Pokemon just for...just for that.

There probably are Japanese shows that might suit your category more, but they probably will be harder to find, as well, and Pokemon is abundant.

Besides, even non-anime fans recognize Pokemon, sometimes. It might benefit your, erm, cause, if the lady in question recognize Pikachu.

If it's a girl, you can't go wrong with anything from Sanrio. Most Sanrio stores I've been in have typical things that'd be perfect for a baby's room like bedding, pillows, plush dolls, and even wallpaper.

You cant see what else he or she likes? Well Pokemon should be a safe bet. I even like to play the games and i sometimes watch the anime too, for nostalgia. Maybe Dragon Ball as Mr.Roboto said, or just ask him or her to see what else he or she likes, if you can. Sorry i couldnt help that much.

Do you not realize that the person in question is (going to be) a baby? He can't exactly see what else he/she likes, since he/she technically hasn't been born yet.

Oh, and My Neighbor Totoro for sure. It'll be hard to find bedroom-related merchandise for it in stores, but you can find lots of random baby things for it online at places like jbox.com.

Having read Wolverine Princess' remark about Totoro reminds me that a Totoro stuffed doll ought to be an excellent gift. Razz

Try A Little Snow Fairy: Sugar -- it's one of the cutest shows I've seen, very child-friendly, and has the benefit of not being as mind-numbing to adults as Pokemon, Yugioh, or Hamtaro.

My sister was really into Ojama Doremi and Tokyo Mew Mew. Heck, she even has the manga for Mew Mew.

We did my daughters room in Hello Kitty. However if you don't know if the baby will be a boy or girl you might go with Fruits Basket. I have a friend who did their little boy's room in Fruits Basket.

If you're looking to be frugal Hello Kitty stuff usually comes pretty cheap, I know I've seen alot on discount racks since it was uber popular for a while then died down. Same may be said about pokemon, depends on where you shop tho
