I watched two episodes of this when it was first airing and dropped it. No contempt, just didn't hold my interest when the only interesting happening so far was the ground shaking.

"Digital Manga Inc. is publishing the series in North America, and the company released the 10th volume last November."

Last November? Volume 10 just came out.

Cool. Now that this one has been licensed, I should get around to watching it.

Finally, the anime for this is picked up!!! That reminds me I need to finish up watching the Korean drama adaptation, the Japanese drama adaptation, and the Taiwanese version.

I'm at least tangentially interested in Itazura na Kiss after hearing a few people say good things about it back in the day, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the release and see if those words of praise still hold up.

gothic: They're probably confusing it with volume 9.

Anyway, please support that series, 'cus it's only got two books to go. And DMP has had to put the sucker on semi-hiatus, 'cus not enough people are buying it.

This is my favourite romance series. It's a classic, even if it's very cliche and the main female lead isn't the best. People often praise Clannad: AS for stepping into the marriage and childbirth zone, but Itazura na Kiss does this and does it even better imo.

Except that Volume 9 has been out for almost two years, according to Right Stuf's release date.
I'm still waiting for DMP get a release date for volume 11 and 12. I just got my copy of volume 10. I don't wanna wait for another two years just for one volume to come out! The manga is too good that I just wanna keep continue reading until the end!

DMP told me on Twitter that the series is only going to be 11 volumes long.

st: Ok, so I guess they'll cram the final three books in one, then. That's nice.

This series is hilarious and has a lot of real life to it. There are things wrong with it (like Naoki being awful for most of the beginning) but it also takes a turn a lot of shoujo series do not. Adulthood!

Discotek is wonderful for doing this.

Holy crap, I thought this series would never get licensed. I absolutely loved this series when it aired. I remember when I was at college, me and a friend would sit down each week to discuss what happened in the previous episode xD.

On reflection, he was awful for pretty much most of the series.

That he was.

He never treated the protagonist with an ounce of respect and was constantly looking down on her spoiler[even throughout their marriage].
