Well, I've seen two episodes of the show so far, I'm enjoying myself so far. I do think that Argevollen is bit too high-tech looking incomparison to the Front Mission like machines its facing.
Story is very much a blend of Playstation Front Mission and the original Gundam. Rag-tag military team encounters a Mech that seemly more advanced than previous ones and surprises the enemy including it's inexperienced pilot.
The second episode proved to me its not going to be a one-sided conflict, but challenging learning experience with the high-tech wonder of Argevollen.

I like it! It's different from the mecha I've watched before (minus Code Geass...not a big fan of that). Just finished watching ep3, and the plot's starting to pick up. At first, I wasn't sure about it, but it's fascinating and I hope it continues like this.

I am caught up with Argevollen, but it is probably my least favorite this season. The characters have no originality, especially the main character who is a "rookie" soldier who gains a new power but is unable to use it well. The male protagonist is very immature and offers very little to the plot as a character, as the Captain or commander of the squad makes up for his flaws very blatantly. The plot is going at a good pace, hope it gets better as I continue to watch it!
I realize it is only the 3rd episode, but I think that these are major flaws that are already present. Apologies to those who really appreciate this anime.

Can't say it better. And the (should-be-)Heroine didn't help at all... Also hoping it gets better anyway But I fear tag this kind of protag changes only when tragedy befalls him
