Awesome! It's rare these days for a shoujo to get a full 2 cour series but I'm happy about this news.

YESSSSSSSSS!
No, but really, that's awesome. This needed two cours if it was going to have anything approaching decent pacing, but I didn't expect it to get two cours.
Hype rising. Come on, Pierrot. You've got this. Please don't let me down now.

Normally that's 24-26 episodes. The only real exception that occurs with any regularity is a 2-cour Noitamina series, which is normally 22 episodes.

Typically, a two cour show will run for 22-26 episodes.

pretty sure nobody knows how many eps in 1 cour in an anime. That's why i wish they can just give us number of eps. When an anime has more than 26 like 50 eps, then the cour business stop working. is 50 eps consider 5 or 4 cours?
They can guess of course. 1 cour just mean one season, it can range from 10 to 13 eps. so 2 = 20 to 26. some anime even has 15-16 eps.

As I know nothing about the source material, all the hype for this one was based on the ads...and that hype is rising with this announcement!

Anime that broadcast 15-16 episodes are almost as rare as hen's teeth.
A cour is a quarter of a year.
Counting by cours works fine for 50 episodes (or even 52), as both are 4 cours.

Awesome, I'm looking forward to this. Just based off of the PV, it looks like a story that would benefit from more than one cour.
