They're sure making a big deal out of this for something that'll supposedly only show up for a few minutes in an episode of something else.

Maybe they'll go meta, and show the characters of Sidonia watching the anime BLAME for the entirety of episode 8.

So I'm a bit confused. Is this like Kujibiki from Genshiken, where the characters in the anime watch another anime? Or will they have maybe 2 minute "episodes" of Blame after the main episode of Sidonia? Either way, I can't wait to see what happens.

WHAT?! So it's just some throw-away clips within another show just for homage?

Quite disappointing about this whole affair, but then again, I'd like to see a non-CG Blame adaptation for the whole thing anyways. I wish Vertical would rescue the license for the manga because I still actually need to read it but have heard great things.

Looks good, for the most part. I dislike the characters being CGI... :/

It would be nice. I'd certainly not mind that. Netflix has pushed Sidonia to some degree, so thusly if they push the 2nd season as well, the crossover influence might get more notice. Maybe they'll even do Biomega. Because Bears.
