A final word of my subscription would be nice. Or a better player. Maybe it doesn't matter at the end of the day since I only watch subs. I do want to know what will happen to my subscription starting with the next season.

Doubt that'll happen. Maybe an NX app, we'll see how the console does.

Wow, finally. I had honestly given up hope that they'd get anything for the Vita.

Though what with their partnership with Crunchyroll, I may not really need it anymore.

once again funi drops the fuc#ing ball on this sh*t.by suppurting a console that a portion of the population doesn't give a sh1t about. meanwhile leaving the main streaming all purpose boxes like roku in the dust.

not to be a negative nancy, but i bet they'll even f[ck that up by the time they release it,just like they botched the android and apple apps of them.

The article is only three sentence long, man:

Quote:
FUNimation Entertainment announced on Friday that it will launch its FunimationNow streaming app on PlayStation Vita. The company also confirmed plans to launch upgraded apps on Apple TV, Roku, and Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

Funimation's new video apps are developed by Sony DADC, which means it was likely very easy for them to do a Vita one. ANN went with Vita for the headline since it's the only one of the platforms mentioned that currently lacks a Funimation app.

I feel your pain bro. I to was around when Funi messed up the apple app so bad 3 months straight it simply did not work and the free android app not working but the $10 dollar app worked. not to mention customer service that never did anything nor show any interest in even helping solve the problem among the many other problems and scams they did. I wouldn't get any hope up at all for this app. On the bright side though Funi does seem to slowly changing to a better company Smile

The Zune is dead, the Vita is just treading water at this point.

Vita's still decently big in Japan. More to the point, though, it's huge in the US for people into niche imports and JRPG's... Pretty much the same fan base as those likely to use the app Smile

Furthermore, since there's already a Crunchyroll Vita app, this ensures that dub versions of those can still be viewed on people's Vitas as the two services segregate their offerings.
