I think I did this exact same workshop, but it wasn't branded as a "your name." thing, but they had the one from the movie like that. I recognize that setup.
I need that video, though, I want to make some more. Thanks for that.

What a bullshit, that is regular bracelet, that no one would care about if it wasn't branded with movie.

I've been making friendship bracelets like that (the simpler version) for like twenty-five years now, I had no idea it was kumihimo! I learned it from a friend in college. It's much easier on my hands than the flat knotted kind of bracelet, and it goes together very quickly. (Much more quickly than the style that uses the circular disk/stand thingummy.) Now I'm curious to try it with something nicer than embroidery floss...
