The first one reminds me of a scene from a recent extremely popular anime film (except with detergent). And the little floating creatures in the second one give me Moyashimon vibes.
The commercials are cute though despite that the focus is on only the female characters using the detergent to make men like them, in which case I guess the marketing behind it insinuates that you don’t have to buy perfume when you can just get decent detergent and kill two birds with one stone.
And HYPOTHETICALLY if they decided to make a show/spinoff of this I think detergent plushies would be a decent novelty if they were designed right.
Or maybe they’ll just make a dating sim where one of the girls goes out with a detergent bottle or something.

I saw the title and thought this was an Answerman column until I re-read it.

lol I find this ad rather silly tbh. Well most of ads anyways (not necessary anime style) but still I find them amusing nonetheless so dont get me wrong, watching these ads gives me a lot of chuckle specially the second one. xD

Isn't a comment on the scent or smell of a coworker or classmate a form of sexual harassment?

I don't know about that, but this whole thing is just kind of creepy.

It seems that even the scents of laundry detergent can make some very interesting couples.
