Kinda sad this news has reminds me that there will be no new Castlevania game in the forseeable future. Come on, Konami, I know smartphone game prints money, but it won't hurt to try a bit harder

Not really sure what to think of this. I'll have to see a little bit more.

Love Castlevania. Too bad Konami doesn't treat the franchise with respect anymore. Also it's a shame this isn't on crunchyroll instead.

correction, it's too bad Konami doesn't treat any of their franchises with respect anymore, they think Pachinko machines will sell more then actual games these days

Oh now there's something that will be really interesting.
I hope that they'll use classic songs from the games in this anime xD
It'd be awesome to listen to Bloody Tears while watching this Wink

Really pleased to see Netflix finally continuing to pick up non-3D stuff.

I haven't heard of this til now but I do love the game. Hoping this is good.

I was not sure what to expect, and this does not look bad. I hope it stays not looking bad.

The big downside here is how frustrating it is they finally got this off the ground after Konami turned evil. With what they did to their employees (even before the Kojima thing), I don't feel great about supporting anything they do. Hrrrmmm...

Hmmm...

The first 39 seconds didn't really seem all that necessary even if it was meant as a retro tease to NES fans. Although, the cartridge blowing bit was funny.

The actual trailer looks interesting. Trevor seems more scruffy and less of a goldilocks as he was depicted in the game manual and Japanese boxart. Syfa looks good (although it does look like her gender identity concealment was disregarded entirely. Guess that makes sense as it would be annoying to the viewers to have to guess the identity of a sorceror whose identity has been known for 20+ years). Grant does not look like a quasimodo as he was depicted in the manual. However, he does have his hunch and excellent throwing abilities. Alucard looks like his character from Symphony of the Night! Yay! Very Happy And he has his SWORD! Double yay! Very Happy

Dracula appears to have full black hair! I'll accept it. Smile

Guess I'll give the show a try.

Is it wrong that part of me wants to see them bring back that Simon Belmont from Captain N for a cameo and/or a G.I. Joe-inspired 'PSA' at the end?

Whoa this looks AWESOME! Really nice to see Netflix getting into 2d productions aimed at an older audience. With this, Devilman and Perfect Bones (teaser/info when???) they are really getting some interesting stuff
