What a better way to ruin an upcoming anime than to turn it into a harem anime. I know I am jumping to conclusions. I hate that some all-girls anime stay all-girls months from their premier before revealing males down the line, like Anime-Gataris. I hope the coach will be a very minor character and not some hetbait male love interest. This anime better not go to the same direction as >Little Witch Academia.

It would be a tad shame if the fans will overlook the girls in favor of a side character just because he has a well-known VA providing his voice. I assume the creators do not believe that their anime will sell if they will not make Initial D shout-outs. I do not want to see another IdolMaster CG or Smile Precure.

Look I'm sure it's coincidental they hired Shinchiro Miki to voice a coach on this show and not a huge Initial D reference chance for them. The only way we'll know it was on purpose is if they start playing eurobeat music when he shows up and talks. The plot of the show had my interest before and the casting just peaks my curiosity a little more.
