Wow, I wonder if that means the anime will feature the manga ending? Also, it'd be nice if Vertical could just come out and say that they licensed this. There's a listing for the first volume on amazon under the horrible title Summer Rains.

There is no way this can be finished this season. The manga has 80+ chapters and we are nearing ch.30, so another season would be needed. Hopefully this was animated with 2 seasons in mind!

Well, this is worrying as all anime aired on Noitamina rarely exceeds beyond 1 cour. Only Psycho-Pass got 22 episodes.

Actually, in the last ten years, Shiki, Guilty Crown, Robotics;Notes, Samurai Flamenco, and Your Lie in April were two cours as well, not including shows in the block that got second seasons or will shortly. This show is going to be one cours, but a second season is not outside the realm of possibility. |

Someone said online that this may have been a mistranslated and that the series will end in 2 volumes, not 2 chapters.

Two volumes seems more appropriate. Usually you don’t hear, “ending in two chapters” out of nowhere unless a series is canned, and by all accounts Amaagami is doing very well.
