Thank you so much for covering Wit Studio event. For people who can't go to such event, it's always great to read article about it. For art and animation nerds/students, having animators casually talk about their process along with artwork display is mind blowing. (My wishful thinking: It would be nice if large and medium size anime conventions do more events like this rather than usual stiff press conference style presentations)

But I would change the meaning of this speech a little: I would not say that it is the strength of Wit Studio, but it is the forte of Wit Studio's team. If one day Wit loses Ebara or Imai, things will surely change and they will not be the same. Unless they resettle or always seek to work with people on a similar level. Which is not the same as having your own staff. Entertainers come and go. Sometimes pointing the studio as the proponent of the style is quite complicated.

Mainly because this team is very small until today. Since 2013, they are practically the same guys who work on the studio's main works. Only from 2015 to here has this changed, as seen in Seraphim of the End and Kabaneri Iron Fortress. Still in those works were used beginners animators [very new ones] to do the animation. Although a veteran, Takuma Ebisu, was around.

If they used beginning animators in Seraph of the End and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, then holy crap Shocked does Wit Studio have a bright future ahead with their growth.

Attack on Titan and Kabaneri of the iron Fortress had a lot of still shots but Wit sure makes it count when they ARE animating scenes. The level of detail they were able to maintain in a lot of the action sequences in those shows was very impressive as well.

Kabaneri and Attack on Titan have perhaps the highest animation quality ever of a TV series in terms of level of detail.
