Hopefully we get this in the states. Jake Hunter offers way more realism and character than any other detective novel game.

I am new to this series... for some reason I thought this franchise was related to the Kyle Hyde games (Hotel Dusk and Last Window on the DS). I quite enjoyed the first one. As for the Jake Hunter series, where is a good place to start? From what I gather, there are no English fan translations of the older games...

Oh, there is a translations of those older games if you have a Nintendo DS or 3DS I recommend getting Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past which has the remakes of the original four games that were from the Famicom/NES series.

Thanks for the info... somehow I missed the DS release. I'll check it out! The DS continues to amaze me with the sheer number of fantastic games that were released for it -- many of which have become classics at this point. Heck, I am currently playing Mario and Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story!
