From ジルクニフ・ルーン・ファーロード・エル＝ニクス/ Jirukunifu Rūn Fārōdo Eru Nikusu Jircniv Rune Farlord El Nix the "Bloody Emperor" But sure go with Gilkunif,sounds like a fan made side character from H.R. Pufnstuf. |

Forgive my ignorance, but does Jircniv have any official source backing it, or is it just the fan translation? If the later, then I see no problem with Gilkunif. L/R is always a bit of a cointoss when translating made up forieign names from writen Japanese, and the "gil" is likely meant to be pronunced with a postalveolar "J" sound, like in "Gilles de Rais" (which, incidentally, is written in katatkana as ジル・ド・レェ). |
