After 10 episodes, i have little faith left that we'll ever get to see anything resembling a climax in this show...

Unless something interesting happens in the season climax, I probably won't be watching. The show just didn't grab me like I thought it would.

Maybe PA Works should just step away from the action genre for awhile.

You might be right. I liked Sakura Quest a lot, and I feel like they nailed it with that series, but the output since then isn't to where that series was. I'm not bored with Fairy Gone, but I also can't blame anyone who is.

I also liked last year's Iroduku really well so PA Works still does drama pretty well.

I think the main problem is that they're trying to play what should be a more action-oriented series as a drama, and that's not working so well in this case.

That might explain why I seem to feel some sort of dissonance from time-to-time with the show.
