Oops, well hopefully they credited their inspiration in the credits. if not, I dont think the musicians are to blame but the animators.

I thought it would be more substantial. It's so brief it can be considered an homage. Naruto ripped off more of the movie than this.

There's more than just Cowboy Bebop. They also traced scenes from Gurren Lagann, Naruto, The Legend of Korra and the OP of Absolute Duo.

I expected a lot less was copied than what the comparison video showed. The writers definitely have some explaining to do on who’s idea it was to storyboard it so closely.

Plagiarism, a problem as old as music itself. Reminded me of the whole Nick Simmons situation (and how many times a certain Latin American singer has plagiarized and gotten away with it)

Remember it's not plagarism if it's sampling.

All of that is a joke. It's hard to come up with something original but just outright stealing other work is sad. It's terrible that practices like that are becoming the norm. Almost as bad as repeating 3 notes on a drum machine and talking over it.
