I'm glad that I've already travelled to Japan 6 times long before the outbreak happened.

I was thinking of finally taking a trip to Japan in the fall, but decided to wait until sometime next year before all this started. Fortunately, that means that nothing was significantly disrupted for me as far as that goes.

I am glad that I have travelled to Japan 28 times already and will keep adjusting flight bookings until I can visit again. At least the new cases of COVID-19 are decreasing in Australia. |

I was planning for a trip to Japan in September/October, but now things are completely in limbo. The cruise I'm booked on from Vancouver to Yokohama hasn't formally cancelled, but at this point its probably just a matter of time. The annoying thing is that due to personal commitments I probably won't be able to take another trip to Japan until 2023. I suppose there's still a slight chance that things might settle down enough by the fall to lift these restrictions, but I doubt it. |

My sister and I were planning a trip to see the cherry blossoms, we're actually supposed to be there right now. Obviously that was cancelled and we got a refund, but it's just so weird how all our lives are put on hold like that.

My cousin was planning to stay there for a year, and she had to return, since there won't be more flights between both countries in a long, long time.
Tough times we're living in, but we will overcome this, I am sure. |

I was hoping to take a trip to Japan later this year but hadn’t booked because I was waiting to do my taxes (which I still need to do). Dodged a bullet there
I did book a flight to Chicago that I couldn’t get refunded but that’s much less disappointing than losing money for a trip to Japan. |
