Giving your children stupid names should be considered child abuse.

There are stupider names out there than Asta. At least he shares his name with a famous movie serial canine, so it's not like it's stupid by being super-specific.

So they've been anime fans since childhood and they arrived at Asta? I mean, I know they wouldn't dare name him Naruto sansen, the #1 hyperactive knucklehead ninja, but still.

Quote:
The couple also considered names like Natsu, Sora, Roxas, and Yuki.

At least they are cultured enough to know KH. The mothers name is Roxy. It would have been very obvious to name him Roxas. Natsu is from Fairy Tail. Considering the pattern here, Yuki has to be from SAO.

Quote:
They are also considering the name of Black Clover's deuteragonist "Yuno" for future children because it is a unisex name.

They just seem to be big BC fans then if (for example) Gasai Yuno ain't inspiring you as a name to give to your child.

Edit: Just clicked the source and read the interview. They did mention Mirai Nikki as one of the series they love. The Yuno mention was because the interviewer asked them a BC specific question. Also, they appear to not be fans of incest is wincest. lol

I see no issues with this. Its a very unique name and i love unique names.

Heck I named my Mini Daushaund Roxas when i got him 2 years ago for my birthday.. he is very hyper and spoiled.

Don't give your kid a weirdass name because you're a fan of something "uniquie". At least have enough mercy to make it a middle name so that they're not completely screwed.

In my country (Lithuania) Asta is considered a feminime name. As a Lithuanian, I find it weird to see a boy has a women's name. *eyerolls*
