I'm surprised ann still hasn't posted news of the anime adaptation given how it's trending in literally every other website.

Well, officially they can't since that information come from links and if they posted that would be quiiite problematic.
Anyway, it's quite impressive how many successes Shonen Jump has right now. Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen are having huge sales and Chainsawman has a lot of potential. It's also very interesting to see that they all have a... darker edge, I'd say? It definetely feels like they're fundamentally different series from something like One Piece. It's interesting to think how these series seem to stem more from the 'Bleach/Yu Yu Hakusho' lineage of 'urban fantasy' than to the more fantastical lineage of One Piece/Naruto.

Pretty sure they mean "leaks" since the info comes from leaked copies of this weekend's upcoming Weekly Shonen Jump issue. ANN (and most sites that try to vet sources) won't share that info until the official announcement is available since things can get lost in translation or misinterpreted when playing fandom telephone on this.

Yep. That's what I meant but my brain, somehow, typed 'link'.
Still, yeah. This is a problem for news websites since posting leaked info would lead to some serious problem but since other sources aren't so concerned about that, the websites look like they're behind the news.
