But honestly not in June-July or October-November, please. Because really, while the game look very polished by what it shown, it better to not have bigger competition around to shine after all this years of waiting.

This is one of those games I'm willing to jump in to completely blind. That's just how good it looks. I have a feeling this game could draw in a huge audience if they market it right.

ReLink has been in development for so long I really shouldn't still expect anything out of it, but I'll be damned if I'm not still irrationally optimistic.
Though I am a bit iffy on how the story'll be. It's based on a gacha mobile game, which IME tends to preclude the possibility of anything like... meaningful character development.
Still, the world looks so gorgeous. Can't wait to explore it.

GBF isn't going to knock your socks off to the moon in terms of character development or plot, but you might be surprised by the mobile game's actual story and character depth. They get a nice thick layer of meat if you follow the main story, and a lot of the huge cast of characters get full character arcs through at least one or more of the events/side stories. The worldbuilding in the game is also superb, and a lot of what we see in the Relink trailer just _feels_ like it was well-captured from the mobile game.
I'm certainly excited.
