It's been done before; Akihiro Ito lost the use of his right hand and relearned to draw with his left. The three volumes of Able were essentially his rehabilitation project.

I'm glad Okabe-sensei is at least stable, and hopefully they take the time they need to properly recover.

Gosh! I'm so glad he survived! I hope the rehab goes well, and whichever hand they choose to prioritise, I hope they can get back into drawing. I can only imagine how horrible it'd be to not be able to draw all of a sudden.
