Huh, curious what one-shots they might animate.

I don't really hear a lot of cases where a one-shot gets an anime adaptation of some form so this is kinda crazy to hear. Of course, we recently got that Look Back film which originated from a one-shot so I guess we're seeing a real change here. Since they're doing this, I'll be really interested in seeing an anime film for Sayonara Eri (also from the Chainsaw man author). I think that would be quite entertaining to see in a movie format.

Will they animate current "one shots" or also older "one shots" like e.g. "Romance Dawn"?

The article says Jump+, meaning they'll animate one-shots that originated on Jump+.
