Kyoani has stopped caring about their own old works. They only recognize their recent works beginning with Hyouka, including their least popular series like Tamako.

Air remake.
Kanon remake.
Haruhi remake, or sequel.
Nothing else will, as far as KyoAni is concerned, truly make people interested.

Kyoani recognizes the work they have good merchandising deals for and for which they were able to sit at the head of the production committee. Because that's what provides them the revenue stream necessary to maintain an animation staff of salaried employees with benefits. Trying to frame that as somehow a bad thing, or that Kyoani doesn't "care" about their older work under companies who refuse to offer them these conditions, is pure ignorance

As much as I want a Haruhi sequel project, I know it's almost impossible.
My heart hopes that this is Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You, seeing as it hasn't announced a studio yet and it will air on TBS (which has aired most of KyoAni's series in the past).

So what are the chances that the announcement will be for "Nijuuseiki Denki Mokuroku"? They did announce that an anime adaptation of the light novel has been greenlit but the horrific arson incident happened in 2019.
I also wish they can do FMP again or at least finish it off since the last studio who adapted Invisible Victory no longer exist now.

Literally none of that needs to happen. The adaptations were great. Especially Kanon's

This is already fairly answered - their focus is on those franchises for which they were able to obtain favorable standing in the production, and it either doesn't make sense or isn't possible for them to do anything else - but I'll add that, even so, their events and promotions do include their older works. Their 2023 Music Festival was a whole Haruhi celebration, featuring Aya Hirano performing solo and with ENOZ and reuniting the entire SOS Brigade onstage. It also featured artists like Mikuni Shimokawa (Full Metal Panic) and Lia (Air, Clannad). Their shop continues to sell merchandise relating to all of their works, and the high-res digital paints portion has recently begun adding scenes from Haruhi, in addition to already offering Chuunibyou and Munto from among their older shows. One thing you'll hear in connection to City: The Animation is how popular Nichijou was with the staff even after all this time, and rumor holds that City came about due to the Kadokawa-related impossibility of doing a second season of Nichijou. I would say that constitutes "caring about" or "recognizing" their old works, but I don't know what you mean by that in the first place unless you just want more animation, in which case this is silly.

Considering that KyoAni has been sufficiently successful on the strength of its original works and side projects to stay in business and produce such high-quality work in the 15-ish years since they made that shift, I'd say people are interested in what they're doing. If you aren't interested in City or the Dragon Maid film or the next Euphonium project or whatever their next works are going to be, then it's your prerogative to bury yourself in the past, but don't project your myopia onto the world. The constant pining for a third season of Haruhi is grating - it's never going to happen, and even if it does, it's not going to involve KyoAni. Kadokawa is not interested in investing more in a franchise with no future and they certainly aren't interested in reestablishing a relationship with KyoAni. It's all right to dream (it's not like I would say no either), but I do wish people would stop framing it as something that they're entitled to and have been consistently robbed of. Air and Kanon don't need to be remade; for all their flaws, they're great as they are, or at least great enough that I'd much rather see KyoAni expend their efforts on something new. A Kanon remake would be weird anyway considering it already was a remake.
My money's on that 20 Seiki Denki Mokuroku adaptation - even with no news since its initial announcement years ago, it's still regarded as happening eventually, and now could be the time. It wouldn't surprise me either if it were a continuation of the next Euphonium project, and more Tsurune doesn't seem out of the question.

Judging from what people have been saying in this very forum (as well as my own thoughts), I'm inclined to disagree.

Yeah, I have been kind of concerned about whether Nijuuseiki is still happening since the arson happened. Of course, given the circumstances, it would be understandable to put production on hold or even cancel it, but given how there has been no cancellation announcement....you know, maybe it'll be brought up here.
Although I doubt it'll actually happen, I also think it would be cool for KyoAni to finish the FMP anime, since there is just enough material for one last season.

That would be awesome, that I'm not sure the manga's aesthetic would fit with KyoAni's style? I'd like to be proven wrong, though....

KyoAni's adaptation of Kanon was already a remake, in a way. Toei made an anime adaptation of Kanon in 2002, though from what I can tell it wasn't well-received by fans since it cuts out a lot of the game's plotlines.
