If they say "screen" then that generally means "in theaters." (Note that they do specifically say "stream" instead when talking about s4 later in the same paragraph.) Besides, I saw a trailer for the next Slime movie when I went to see Scarlet in theater last week. |

I'm a little confused on the chronology. Is this a side story or a mini plot arc wrapped in a movie as long series tend to do? They're screening it in the US in May but the next season starts in April, so if the movie is plot-relevant, anime-only viewers will be at a disadvantage.
Iirc, the last movie was mostly a side adventure with a few light references coming up during the third season. |
