Okay, I had heard some good stuff about X-Day and I read it, and it was good. I enjoyed that it was dark and it was short. But, I enjoyed that little short story at the end of book two "The Last Supper" more. Oh how demented was that?? Cows made with human DNA and then in the end the little boy eats his best friend cow? Question: did Lamda come back and offer himself? Did the hunters capture Lamda, kill him, and then sell Mitsuhiko's family his organs without them knowing whose organs they were? I think it's the latter answer, but not sure...

Yah, I think it was the second one too. After all, Lamada accepted the fact that he should run away. And the family didn't know which cow they had. I think it makes the ending more ironic. But I have no definite proof, it just works better with the story. I have yet to figure out if the story is genius, or just plain screwed up.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who had read this...*lol*
It is rather messed up, but really, if they wanted to make it really screwy...they could've made it a lot more grotesque and less sentimental. But, yeah...*thinks* when Mitsuhiko finds the key after eating the soup...arghh!
