i heard there's a new anime by the same people that did FLCL. That it's similar in style or something. Im not sure of the title. Does anyone have any idea what im talking about? thanks.

I know that Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi was done by GAINAX. To me the art looks very similar and it also has a strange storyline kinda like FLCL. But Abenobashi has been out for a while (not as long as FLCL, but still for a while).

Or are you talking about a brand new anime that's still new in Japan?

I also noticed this when I saw it. The boy looks just like Takune from FLCL.

Man! That trailer on the Japanese site sure is funky. Way more funkier than FLCL. It looks very interesting with the over the top action, but the way they do the heavy black shading on everything is really distracting. Kind of hurts my eye. Shocked Reminds me of the Gamecube game Viewtiful Joe.

If you want to find out the title of an anime, you might want to give some more info, if you're talking about a new anime from them here in America, then you probablly mean Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. However, if you mean a new series in japan I haven't the slightest idea.
