Has anybody seen the Yu Yu Hakusho movie, The Poltergeist Report? If you have, what do you think of the movie? Personally, I think it rocks.

I did. It's great so long as you have it on the sub. I loved Kuronue, and getting to see my Kurama naked. ^^.

I haven't watched either movie in quite a while (nearly 10 years now!) and I can't help but think that I would be greatly disapointed in them now. I wonder how long it'll be before their licenses expire and if FUNi would be interested in picking them up.

I've watched a bit of it but the disc was a little too scratched and it skipped a lot. But I did like what I saw (what little of anyway). The style of animation is not my kind of liking but I did like the plot quite a bit. Somehow, the animation reminded me of the GTO/Hareluya 2 Boy/Slam Dunk style. So it's not my kind of style.

I seen this movie but I don't remember seeing Kurama naked and if I did I'm glad I forget. Its a good movie and a lot better than from what I've heard than the first movie. So I recommend this movie, so you better watch it or I pity you lol.

Um?
I've got the disc somewhere in my collection but I'll bet it's useless now. I can't find the DVD for sale anywhere at all so I guess, it's too bad for me then.

I remember the action sequences being above-average....but I didn't really connect with the plot (thought it was fairly generic). This is probably due to the fact that I watched the Poltergeist Report before the first movie and the TV series (I believe the Poltergeist Report was the first YuYu Hakusho show to come out of U.S. stores).

It was another of those "teenager in limbo fights demons" stuff. The action scenes were quite nice, but so was Flames of Recca. I didn't really see enough of it to really comment on the plot. But it was quite alright. What really bugged me was the style of animation. It was quite old school.
