A couple photos at http://www.comingsoon.net/cgi-bin/imageFolio.cgi?direct=Animation/YU_GI_OH. Found out
at http://movies.channel.aol.com/movie/main.adp?mid=16408 that the manga creator's the producer, even if he isn't credited at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0403703/fullcredits. But you can find out which American voice actors made it on there. Apparently, the director of Votoms and the third Cockpit segment must've really needed the money, because he's attached to this project as well. Oh, and for your convenience, there's a planted IMDB review of the film.

Why, I ask you, why do they have to make a movie about it??? Isn't the franchise good enough??? If anything, it will ruin the Yu-Gi-Oh campain by making a movie that resembles nothing to the show.

I thought it did tie in with the show...with the whole, "OH! ANOTHER Millenium Item!" plot. And it worked for Pokemon, why wouldn't making a movie work for YGO?

Didn't they already make a YGO movie? It wasn't shown in theaters but released on DVD. Kaiba finds this kid with a red-eyes and he wants it or something... Question

It didn't work for Pokemon, in my opinion. It just made it worst because the movies had no connection, except the characters were the same.

Movies don't neccessarily have to tie in with the current series. As long as the characters are constant, movies are probably better received as a stand alone thing. And didn't the first Pokemon movie that hit the theaters do pretty well?

Yea, you got that right though the "movie" was only 30 min. long, and it was based on the "first original" season.

I actually like YGO. Yes I admit it. I like a kids show. The only thing that lets me down sometimes is all the friend stuff. It is like fluff. And I also like pokemon. Ya it is a kids show. Big freaking deal.

I dunno, I haven't seen read or heard Yugioh, so I'll just use this as my basis for critisicing everything ever made.

Don't get me wrong, I liked it. But after they get their memories erased and just continue the quest? They can never use it in the show as a flashback or something.
