Ok, so i recently read a few romance mangas, but now im all out so i was wondering if some of you could help me find a new one....
The ones i've read so far are: I''s Ichigo100% Pastel Suzuka I really really like these and i was wondering if any of you know any that are like romance/school type manga. Idk about fruits baskets i just didn't like the art lol so it would be great if the art was similar to the above titles THANKS for all the help! |

Well, that would depend. From what series you've listed it looks like you're into shonen comedy type series. Fruits Basket in my mind would have been one of the better series to go with, especially coming from it's shojo background. I just don't get how people can turn away Fruits Basket. A series that would probably be in the vicinity of your reading history would probably be School Rumble, though to me it focuses more on comedy than it does romance, but the elements are still there.

Here are some series you should check out....Love Hina, Ai yori Aoshi, Chobits, Oh, my Goddess, Chibi Vampire, Rosario Vampire, Mamotte Shugogetten, and Video Girl AI. These are all popular Shonen romances.

Yeah pretty much what he said. I was gonna recommend a few and e listed all I was gonna recommend and then some. I'd just like to add that I wasn't a huge fan of Love Hina, it is funny, but Keitaro getting OWNED for incidents that are clearly not his fault gets old quickly. Anyway I'd definately second Oh My Goddess (I loved the anime and I've ordered the first 4 volumes of the manga), and I HIGHLY recommend Ai Yori Aoshi as well. Although Ai Yori Aoshi is harrem, it felt very different for me because, there was an already existing love story between to of the lead characters, so while the overall plot builds on that story, the comedy elements are a result of the "harem." Anyway I felt that it was a very good, story with fantastic art, and great very likeable characters. Aoi and Kaoru aside (obviously the leads will be my favs), I think that Tina was my favorite character. err anyway, I don't want to say more as I might spoil something. I also have all of Chobits which is another touching story. Finally I'll wrap up by saying that I also second Chibi Vampire and Rosario+Vampire. |

Chobits has eight volumes worth of manga. Ai Yori Aoshi has 17 volumes worth of manga. How many chapters there are depends upon how many they each have per book. I'm sure you can do the math from there.

If you liked Suzuka (and don't mind scans) I'd suggest A Town where you live. It's good so far, and it's by the same person.

I second Video Girl AI. The art is extremely good, and since it is by the same creator as I"s that might appeal to you. There is a science fiction element to it, but the romance is the focus and the interactions between characters are very well done.

Chobits is licensed, my sister owns it.
I would also try Skip Beat, though the romance is slow to develop, its still really good. |

I would highly recommend Lilim Kiss, from the same Manga-ka as Ichigo 100%
Wait it's not licensed in the US... Oh well, still going to recommend If you wanna read it, you'll have to do some digging, but it's worth it. |

Chobits by far. Story is classic lonely guy stuck in a mundane existence falls in love. Done extremely well and a pretty short series at only 8 volumes. Very good starter series for anyone new to manga.
