What I want is a Windows XP Skin that is anime themed instead. NOTE: Only post legal anime skins for Windows XP, nothing illegal please. And they must be available for free legal download. By the way, sorry if this is the wrong place to post it, but I didn't see a general discussion or off-topic subforum. |

um you could change it manually well the color anyway. Also, try firefox. Firefox just does the browser. Also if you had windows 7 it would help.
Anyway I'm pretty sure you have to buy new skins or the software to make them. Just download them. Freeware doesn't always necessarily mean its illegal. For example linux and windows. Freeware is just the alternative. Get skins: http://www.wincustomize.com/ Get apple OS on windows (well not really): just type in apple or leopard in the search engine. For your purposes, just know it does everything apple can. Don't fudge with ur computer if u don't know how to set it back to the original setting. It's fairly easy though. Just download/install the programs and experiment. Every software has a turn off button. Yeah since you wanted anime skins and not many exist you have to make them in WindowBlinds. You have to buy it I think or not iff you know what I mean. |

oh well like I said you have to be tech savvy. If you don't know what you are doing stop immediately. You fudge up that's it. You have to reboot your computer which is a pain. Although WindowBlinds shouldn't really create any problems since its GUI friendly and purposely made for beginners.
I'm still doing the trial version myself. I don't know what happens after the trial version is over, but it is suppose to revert back to the aero theme (some say it doesn't others "cracked" the software). If it doesn't you have to reboot your computer or else you are stuck with the ugly classic theme. The other way is to hack windows and patch some files. Hopefully that wont be necessary. However there is a software that does this but I wont post it since you can really fudge up your CPU if you don't know what you're doing. The patch software comes with no instructions. Plus you have to take some safety precautions before actually using the software. _____________________________________________________ anyway how to make anime icons (or any icon): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqNCZIRZgJM don't go to rocketdock and download skins (deviant art either). If you want those skins you have to know how to use the patch and manually put them in your windows themes folder. "There are shadows approaching me ..." |
