@Alan45 - I've been enjoying watching some old favorites too, something I used to do a lot more before the anime seasons got so packed. Just rewatched Blue Period the last few days and am debating whether to rewatch Frieren or Hell's Paradise next since both have second seasons coming out in five weeks.

The final episode period of the season has once again started and while some shows have pleasantly surprised me quite a few dropped in quality over time. I am sure that I will be complaining that next season is too loaded in a few weeks but I would much rather take that over another Fall 2025.

I am still unsure what to feel about One Punch Man, it is mind numbing to see how the third season turned out.

Crunchyroll has released its Winter 2026 schedule, he mentioned for no particular reason...

...but yeah, some of you already know Fall 2025 has been my least favourite season since I got into the anime game back in January 2009. For about 5 seconds, I worried that might be a sign I'm getting tired of anime in general, but I really don't think it is, because I've picked up the slack by chipping away at my physical anime collection, rewatching a few old favourites and dipping my toes into older stuff (like Fist of the North Star and Anne of Green Gables). It's true that I'm not as tolerant as I used to be... if something isn't really grabbing me these days, it's gone... but honestly I think this season was an aberration where by pure chance there were just a lot of shows that didn't appeal to me.

But Winter 2026 looks promising. I've flagged 7 sequels I'm very hyped for and 24 new shows that I want to check out.

...did I mention that Crunchyroll has released its Winter 2026 schedule?
