30 minutes? so that means the whole movie is probably about an hour.

Eh, if I have any money left over after seeing Team America, I'll consider going. But neither element of that double bill, individually, interests me nearly as much as seeing puppet versions of celebrities get eviscerated.

No, the completed movie will be around 100 minutes. The version they'll be showing will probably the same one they showed in Venice Film Festival.

The downside to living in a city with a lot of small film festivals and Fantasia is that, over the past year or two, I've noticed increasingly that the studios who distribute anime films in North America only seem to play the film here at the festivals, not in regular engagements at an arthouse-oriented cinema like the AMC Forum 22, meaning, if I miss a festival screening, I don't get to see it on the big screen, period. Cowboy Bebop skipped Montreal completely until it made it to Fantasia AFTER being released on DVD, as did Tokyo Godfathers, and so far I've heard zilch about a regular screening of Innocence: GITS 2 here.

Has anyone heard of a release date for innocence. I never got a chance to see it when it was in the theater here.
