Alright well first off, a long time ago, I happened to pick this up and really enjoyed it, although I wasn't really into manga and stuff at the time, so I kinda left it. Now after re-reading my old vol 1 I want to continue with the series. That said I havea few questions.

1) This series isn't actually manga is it? I think its manwha, but I'm not sure.

2) Is the series only available flopped? (or is it normally right to left?) Not detrimental to the story, just not used to it after reading manga for so long its actually confusing! HAHAHA!

3) What are your thoughts on the series? I mean I liked what I read (and saw) in vol. 1, does it get better, stay the same, or get worse. (obviously I'd prefer to avoid spoilers).

4) Also I think I heard someone say something about this getting a "big book" or omnibus release. Is this true?

guess no one is familiar with this series?

manga#2776

this is the one I mean. I didn't see that before when I looked at it but there are 35 releases. So I guess it hasn't all been released here.

It is manhwa, but a pretty interesting one to say the least. The plot of it though will remind you of Berserk a lot. spoiler[Someone dear to the characters gets raped, people die, and revenge is sworn upon those who were friends, and now mortal enemies until the bitter end.] But it does seem to have a bit more comedic elements than Berserk to me. I think the last volume I read up to was either volume 14 or 15, I believe.

Ah cool thanks! LOL I was beginning to wonder if it was just a an unpopular series since no one was replying. Sad Smile

Anyway, I've never read Berserk so I wouldn't be able to see similarities if there are. Anyway, I've got a few manga series that I've already started to collect that I would like buy first, but I think that I will be getting this one.

Anyway thanks for replying.

Rebirth is a good read for a manhwa. I don't know too many of them but I can say that this is definitely one worth reading. It's not a kiddy manhwa though, I can tell you that. But you would also want to check out Berserk, because that series is just crazy. It would also be good to read it with an open mind, because there are a lot of secular, religious, and pagan themes contained within Berserk.

Well I've got a lot of anime, manga, and games on my to buy list, but I'll definately make a note of Berserk. But I very much enjoyed volume one of this series when I bought it a few years back.

I'm definately more interested in this series right now.

Yeah, just be careful, because if you end up liking the series, it'll suck you in. I remember when I couldn't stop reading it when my friend would always bring it to school. I'd keep asking him when he would bring the next volume Laughing

2) Don't know about the US Edition, but my volumes of it (Swedish edition) is.

3)A cool series with a Berserk-like storyline featuring characters with DBZ-level magical powers. It get's bonus points for having a vampire who isn't emo over what he is.

4) Don't know.

No problem Very Happy I'm always happy to be of assistance to fellow Otaku's and such everywhere. But around these parts i really feel like a fish out of water (or a small guppie swimming with the big sharks, or what have you.)

I know exactly what you mean. In my own group of friends I'm the most hardcore anime fan, and I would assume they would definately consider me an Otaku (if they were familiar with the term).

But compared to a lot of people here, I'm just a fan. LOL

In the end though it doesn't matter.
