I looked to see if I could find anything through searching the forums...
Thanks for any help in advance!

It remains to be seen. There have been no announcements of this if that's what your asking though. I would think that perhaps, someone like Funi or Section 23 could license rescue either/both of them in the near future. I mean they are well known series, that sold pretty well (I think?).
I remember the last ANN podcast here stated Geneon didn't brake even with Paranoia Agent, but it was a good seller. They didn't brake even probally due to dub costs, TV costs , and licensing costs. But since whoever gets it now won't have to worry about a dub, or high license they could probally make a profit off it. And since it got TV exposure I'd say there's a pretty good chance we might see this one again. At least as good as chance as any.
As for Lain that got name rec, and it aired on Tech TV or something years ago. It's undoubtedly a classic, and I'm pretty sure it sold well. So I'd say there's a good chance for this to be rescued too.
It is of course up to the companies that are left to save these titles. They have the sales figures, they've done the math, and they know how cheap they can get the rescues for. So it's really up to them. Of course it is my opinion that both of these titles should never be allowed to go out of print. So I sure hope someone saves them!

If money isn't that much of an object then it may help to know that Lain is getting a blu-ray "Restore" release in Japan, with the English sub (but unfortunately no subs). They release has been delayed indefinitely however, although work is still ongoing.

Er...yeah. That's usually a good sign that nobody knows.
That's basically the case here. As it stands nobody has re-licensed them. Until that happens nobody knows for sure.
It's a possibility it will still happen though. They seem like reasonably popular titles. Funimation already has so much on their plate with all their own titles plus the stuff they've acquired formerly belonging to Geneon. Maybe in the future they will look at picking up more of their old stuff.

I bought up the Geneon Lain series a few months ago, I would love see Lain on Blu-Ray, I thought the animation was pretty stunning, even for the 90s lol, it would look great remastered.
