Could someone tell me if Yen Press re-translated Yotsuba&! when they rescued it from the necrotic clutches of ADV?

They did that with Azumanga Daioh, but that one had that abortive localization attempt anyone would have wanted to clean up.

They did- I read an article on it, but I don't remember where now (I'll post it if I find it.) I remember it saying Yotsuba's dialogue was tweaked to sound more appropriately childish, and 'Carbo' reverted to his original Japanese name.

Also, probably not terribly important for most people (but it matters to nitpickers like myself), Yen Press was unable to get the original digital files for Yotsuba&! (and had to work off scans of the original Japanese-language version), which means that the pages where the drawings "bleed" out of the page got prematurely cropped due to differing size dimensions between Japanese-size and English-translated manga.
