i'm doing a report on gonzo, but i was told it has to be on it's parent company. Which, is GDH. However, im only finding info on gonzo and its many merge-o-mania episodes. Is there a big difference or are they one in the same?

I'm trying to track down its founders and operating officers but... .-. my only"excuse" i could think of would be a cultural difference when it comes to talking about a company's success story?

That's because they no longer operate under that name. GDH (holding company created to manage the group's various businesses) and Gonzo (anime studio) used to be different entities. However, they recently merged back into one company (named Gonzo) after downsizing and selling off most of their subsidiaries.

Anyway, the founders of Gonzo were as follows:

Shinji Higuchi (creator)
Hiroshi Yamaguchi (creator)
Takeshi Mori (creator)

In 2000, Gonzo and Digimation merged. Under the new structure, a holding company was created (GDH), while the anime studio was now positioned as a wholly owned subsidiary.

GDH had a separate management team led by Shinichiro Ishikawa (ex-Digimation), although Gonzo's Murahama simultaneously served as chairman of that board. This team was pushed aside once Iwakaze Capital took over the company in 2008.

^^; its still a little fuzzy here. So, if Iwakaze Capital took over the company in 2008..that would mean gonzo still has a parent company? which would be Iwakaze capital??
