Glad they're porting it to iOS and I hope android. I don't buy handheld systems anymore and I have a tablet so its more convenient to have it on the tablets and such.

I hope they port them instead of remaking them. The thought of our long-awaited Final Fantasy VI remake being iOS-exclusive makes my heart bleed.
And I'm sure there will be a shitstorm if VII is remade for iOS. |

The promo for Final Fantasy V was vague. Is it just a straight-up port of the 2D game? Or will we actually get a 3D remake?

It's been a year since FFT came out and I'm still only 20 hours in? Ugh, I feel like a failure.
FWIW, Square Enix gets a lot of hate for their pricing their stuff higher than the 99c ringtone apps that dominate the App Store, but I'm kind of glad someone's actually carving out a place for higher-quality games on the platform. First rule of capitalism is: "stuff is worth what people will pay for it", and so far Square Enix hasn't had to back down from this. |

Tell me about it. People are up in arms that Chrono Trigger, Chrono Trigger is being priced at $10 at the app store. WTF? $10 is a steal when you consider what kind of game Chrono Trigger is! I swear, people can be such cheapskates sometimes!
