What is Toei's rationale with these streaming episodes? Are they still trying to gauge interest for this title?

Are these episodes actually being released on a DVD? If not then streaming is basically the only way to show them, I think it's more interesting that apparently the streams are region free.

Lady Koto is voiced by Hisakawa Aya, who is the female featured in OVA 5, not the teenager Koto, voiced by Kugimiya Rie.
Also, based on a previous OVA, the older monk here is Inari, not Myoue. Myoue should be the little boy in the blue clothes. |

Well that was....nice to say the least. Though I'm still waiting to see just what the hell it is they want to do with this title. Are they trying to make an original film for it? Is it for a game? What is it already?!?! I wanna know!
