Absolutely the best "visual kei" artist there is, if they are considered that. I never really thought of them as such because their musical style is more pleasant to listen to than the standard VK. I love their use of orchestra instruments in a lot of songs and Yui's vocals are amazing

I doubt an anime convention would be targeted, but I wonder if the venue will be planning to beef up security a bit because of what happened the other day...

Ahhh, Yousei Teikoku! It's been a while since I've actively listened to their music, but they're one of my favourite bands.
I live by Anime North so no Anime Boston for me. I am a little jealous now that they're coming to the USA: it's been three years since a popular Japanese group has performed at an anime convention in Canada, at least to my knowledge. |
