I put this under a technical questions because the votes for the oav seem unrealistic.
If you look at it, it seems like it was trolled by someone using multiple email addresses or something. Doesn't seem like a spread that could possibly happen no matter how good a series is. Legend of the Galactic Heroes: anime#1786 for Musashi: anime#6452 |

I have trouble believing it myself, but it looks like those ratings are legit. In both cases, the "masterpiece" and "worst" ratings were cast over a period of several years, and the users casting those votes have diverse voting patterns. I don't see anything I can identify as trolling. I guess Musashi really *is* a love-it-or-hate-it series.

To bad you can't detect the static IP Address for each vote, but oh well. I can understand a few votes under the same Static IP if more than one person in a household has Anime News Network Accounts.
For example I think both my sister and I have an account here, however we view anime a lot differently so our votes would be significant different. Well that and she only watches a few things like case closed, case closed movies, various disney movies. |
