Production IG is reported to be producing an anime adaptation of Tales of Symphonia, the popular role-playing game for the Nintendo Gamecube. A release timetable is forthcoming.
ANY MORE NEWS ABOUT THIS STORY? Anyone hear anything? |

That's the last and only report that ANN made on it, doesn't seem any new info has been released and there isn't even an entry in the Encyclopedia for it yet. It's been well over a year since it was announced, hopefully we don't have to wait much longer for another announcement.

I heard about it once and forgot all about it. I'm really wondering if they will make an anime of it! Since the game is great the anime may be great.

I would love it if someone would just animate the game itself... I mean, that's really why I like it... it plays like a tv series with all the talking they do. (They should just talk verbally more often...) But playing through it takes forever... I'd kinda rather just watch it play out instead sometimes. Afterall, if my mom was home, she was watching the talking parts and asking me about the storyline.
